Today's Devotional, Psalm 86:16-17, "Turn and Show Me A Sign For Good"
This devotional lesson is to encourage every "True Believer" and people who have turned their hearts to God in obedience, but have or are experiencing devastation, grief, loss, trails, and tribulations. In remembrance of Job, God's chosen servant in whom He was well pleased; endured and overcame with a double blessing from heaven. Job went through a time of testing when he lost everything including family, possessions, and good health. Jobcould not understand himself and even questioned God.(Read the Book of Job)
In correlation, King David did not understand why he was going through with such calamities and enemies/foes who sought to take his very life and spirit. David remembered and knew where his strength and help came from; begins with a prayer of mercy from God. David remembered the excellency of the LORD and ends the prayer with a plea and cry for restoration, revival, and mercy. "Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give Your strength to Your servant, and save the son of Your maidservant. Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, because You, LORD, have helped me and comforted me."
The God of Restoration, Revival, and Mercy is yet at work. He is beholding everything. There are times we as people of God have to take a seat of rest and sit back when we do not understand all that is happening. Let "US" plea and ask God in prayer to turn and send a sign of good for the obedience we have walked in according to the Word of God. #RestorationandRevival
